As part of the project “Development of Oncolytic Virotherapy for Cancer Treatment in Animals”, the University of Zagreb and the Center of Excellence for Viral Immunology and Vaccines, in collaboration with the School of Public Health "Andrija Štampar", are organizing a seminar "Development of a new drug in a GxP environment", which will be held on a July 1st, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall B of the School of Public Health "Andrija Štampar", Rockefellerova 4, Zagreb.
The lecture will be held by Anto Vrdoljak, PhD, a drug and vaccine development expert from the company Vaxxinova Zagreb doo.. Through practical examples, the entire development path of a new drug or vaccine will be shown - from the initial scientific idea and laboratory development, through preclinical and clinical trials, to regulatory procedures, manufacturing in a GxP environment and safety monitoring after the product is placed on the market.
The seminar is intended for researchers, representatives of the health, scientific and business sectors, and everyone interested in the development of new drugs and vaccines.
