Assistant Petra Gulan, M.Sc.Biotechn., spent two weeks on a short mobility of doctoral students as part of the Erasmus+ program KA131 (2025-1-HR01-KA131-HED-000335353) at the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology, NOVA University in Lisbon. During her stay, she actively participated in the expression of recombinant proteins, their purification and characterization. In addition, she underwent training in working on the ÄKTApurifier 100 protein purification system, which was of particular benefit to her in her research on virus purification as part of her doctoral thesis.
