In March 2026, our colleague Beata Halassy, PhD, held an expert lecture in Biberach, which brought together researchers from the academic and industrial sectors and enabled the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of biomedicine.
The visit also included a tour of Boehringer Ingelheim in Ochsenhausen, a leading German biopharmaceutical company. Their facility, located at the heart of the Biopharma Cluster South Germany, includes the development of oncolytic virotherapy and the production of materials for clinical trials.
The visit provided valuable insight into modern approaches to the development of viral therapies and further opened up possibilities for future collaboration.
